The City’s Marching Band

The city’s marching band was formed in 1975 as youth brass and wind orchestra. Over the years it has developed into a powerful wind orchestra. The band performs at many public events in Waldkirchen, but also offers a rich repertoire for club festivals, parades, birthday parties a.s.o.

Waldkirchen’s marching band consists of some 60 musicians. All members are non-professionals and enjoy making music in their leisure time. Considering this, the high artistic level of the orchestra is even more remarkable.
